Well, here's a bit about me:
I have 3 boys, they are my world and I try to be the best father I can be for them, to teach them to be great men when they grow up. I come from a very large family, and family is very important to me. I am a veteran, served in a couple wars, and I miss being in the military, and as such the military was a big part of my life, and it comes out from time to time in my speech and actions, but it isn't a bad thing at all, just goofy I suppose. As far as career goes, I'm pretty much set, met most of my goals, and now working for retirement, in the mean time just doing some courses, a little college here and there and when I do get to retire, I plan on traveling all over the place. I am an introvert, and a Taurus, for those that follow that. I am quiet, a little shy in new places and around new people, so don't expect a social butterfly here.
Some of the things I like:
I like guy stuff mostly. Muscle and classic cars (go to car shows and drags a few times a year) and that has led me to liking that pin-up/rockabilly look, so if you can pull off that, be ready to pose with my cars! lol! I like sports, such as the Buckeyes and Blue Jackets. I coach youth baseball and have a blast teaching kids how to play. I love to play golf when I can, so if you play that would be friggin awesome. I also love to shoot guns (back to my military background), so be ready to blast away at targets and eat good afterwards. I like to tinker and fix things myself, and am a pretty good mechanic, home builder, and all around handyman.
Some of the things I dislike:
Chewing with your mouth open. Large crowds, bad manners, basically the normal things people don't like anyways.
What I'm looking for:
A best friend, the best lovers start out as best friends I think. A companion that isn't trying to be my mother (have one already, don't need another) or trying to make me their "project". Basically a woman who is independent but not so much that she doesn't appreciate having a man in her life. Honesty, trust, and appreciation goes a long way. Like my Grandma always said, you catch more flies with sugar than with salt!
Well, hope that helps, and please don't be shy in contacting me first, remember, I am a tad shy.
Whatever is clever, I'm good doing anything, of course it has to be a public setting. I know with all these crazies running around, can't be too cautious! I love coffee!
