About Me
A little about me. I'm 41 and I've been single for 6 years. Meaning I've not had a long term, serious, committed relationship since 2007.
I've had "temporary flings" since, but they didn't last. I've kind-of-taken the time to learn a little more about me. I'm still evolving and a work in progress. That's being realistic.
By no means does that mean I'm not mentally, emotionally or spiritually ready to be committed; I am! But I'm still human, I'm still flawed, I'm still fierce, and I'm still fabulous.
Things I enjoy and things I don't do:: I enjoy many genres of music; all kinds, I am romantic, I love sleep like drugs, Mexican food is my favorite, I DO NOT SMOKE CIGARETTES or MARIJUANA, I drink socially, I do not party, I'm kind-of-a- homebody, as I've gotten older I'm just much happier with the simple things in life, my kids, spending time with them, hanging at the beach and watching the sunsets, I'm an avid reader; but of lately I've not had much time. I'm an avid cook, I'm wonderful actually. A great kisser, I've not met anyone whose better. Cuddle buddy; I'm a fantastic one. Stimulating conversationalist; I love the art of communication. Recent college graduate of San Francisco City College; I'm so proud and happy of the personal achievement.
There are many facets to a person, including you, but we all want someone to share our lives with. To share a laugh with, watch a good flick and eat popcorn, cook some steak and baked potato, just someone to just be present with. I want the next chapter of my life to be shared with someone special. I'm ready for love, but friendship is most important.
I'd love to build a friendship, I'd like to talk on the phone, have a few coffee dates, and take my time getting to know you. I don't think there's anything wrong with kissing and cuddling, but I'm not ready for a sexual relationship. That part comes when I'm committed to someone. There is no room in my life for casual sex. I'm interested in longevity; long term. I desire to be present in a space with someone who is going to be supportive of my goals, who understands a woman, who is hard working, trustworthy and honest, but most important of someone who is a gentlemen and is very respectful.

First Date
I'd like to be sitting at the beach at sunset, some home made chicken salad, fresh cut strawberries, a cheese platter, some bubbly, two champagne glasses, some music, a blanket and some pillows, a pack of cards, some magazines for me, like Essence, US Weekly, Star and a good book, some dominos, and sunglasses.
