I've learned that if a man want's you , nothing can keep him away. If he doesn't want you, nothing can make him stay. I will stop making excuses for a man and his behavior and allow my intuition to save me from heartache. I will not change myself for a relationship that is not meant to be. Slower is better. I will never live my life for a man, I will find what makes me happy . If a relationship ends because a man is not treating me right , as I deserve then heck no , I will not be friends with them because a friend wouldn't mistreat a friend . I will not settle. If I feel like he's stringing me along, then he probably is. I will not stay because I think "It will get better " because I'll be mad at myself if time passes and things are still not better. The only person I can control in my relationship is ME. I cannot and will not try to change a man's behavior . I will not do all the bending... because compromise is a 2-way street. I will define who I am not him. I will allow myself time to heal because there is nothing cute about baggage. I will not look for someone to complete me. A relationship consists of two WHOLE individuals . It's about complimentary not supplementary. All men are not dogs. I will only commit to a man who is able to give me what I need. To handle yourself, use your head; to handle others, use your heart.
A great relationship takes communication, compromise, consideration,honesty & trust. No matter what you do, how hard you try, if BOTH people are not committed to working at something amazing it will never happen. I learned that the hard way but came out stronger & wiser. I want AMAZING.
Just out of curiosity men.....So what happens when you find an AMAZING woman? You take her for granted? So you really didn't want AMAZING? Happens all too often. Don't be like the guy next to you.
