About Me

Well first off my name is Mike. My hobbies range from a whole variety of things so try to keep with me here :). I love playing video games a little more then I love making them, I like building computers and getting my nerd on. I like doing social things and hanging out with people, I like a wide variety of movies pretty much anything that isn't a horror film(mainly because most of them are just boring to me, doesn't mean I won’t watch them). I love to cook and I cook for quality and by that I mean that it may take me a good hour to make dinner but it will be one of the best dinners you ever had. When I have good motivation and especaially another person I love working out, being in school and doing a bunch of things has had me take a step back on that but I am getting myself together again with that, so good bye beer belly hopefully soon : ). I am not a big drinker, as in I don't go out to clubs every week, I prefer to just drink socially or if I am going to get drunk I prefer a house party over a club. I smoke weed socially and when I sit down to play a video game or watch a movie. I can be a good handy man and like engineering some things, my father has his own little workshop back in my home town and when I was a kid I liked crafting things so I have been known to give some nice little handmade gifts, nothing to special though, I don't have a workshop anymore lol. I love most music, I mainly listen to rap/hip-hop(only from the 90's when it wasn't about a bunch of BS) that’s my New Yorker side, and techno which is my Greek and European side. The only music I am not too into is country(there are some songs that I like but majority of them aren't for me) and Heavy Metal(too much screaming and there is no rhythm for me in those songs). My favorite TV show is South Park hands down, I grew up with it, my favorite book series is "A Song of Ice and Fire"(HBO's A Game of Thrones). I actually love writing my own stories, since I make games also I like to make some backstories for games that I think would be cool and fun to play.

I went to school for Game and Simulation Programming and I am currently hunting for a job. My dream is to own a video game development studio and make games that people will enjoy and be true to myself when it comes down to the gaming industry, and by that I mean that I don't like milking things for as much money as I can, I prefer to make quality products that people just enjoy without me ripping them off(Like the Saw movies, or Call of Duty in the video game market). My hopes right now are to start out working in the beginning level of the gaming industry or find a job in simulation and help make some cool software that can be used by the military. My dream job to work for a company would be to work for Rockstar which makes the Grand Theft Auto games, because of the innovation and technology they have it would truly be a wonderful experience for me. I would love to get married and have kids, but mainly when I am financially stable, I will get married when I think I met the right person and when I think I am ready but kids I would like to have a job that I know I will have years down the road and have some money saved up to make sure I can provide for a family.

Well enough about what I like and want to do in life, how about some info on me. I am a 22 year old greek guy originally from Astoria, Queens, NY(home of the greeks in NY, if you have ever been you would understand) and then I moved out to Long Island out in the Hamptons, so I am a city boy but I do have some country in me ;). Like I have pointed out I am a very social person I love hanging out with friends and meeting new people, you can probably here this from most guys but like I have pointed out I hate clubs and that includes strip clubs(no this isn't a lie lol), those types of scenes have a bunch of drunk and sketchy people in them so its not the most fun place for me to be. I am a very up front person and a heads up on things that playing games with me can go badly, I don't like being made into the bad guy when I may be at some fault but not completely, I like to look at things through both sides of the coin. I will admit I can be to up front and have my New Yorker mentality and not realize I am being a bit of an ass but if pointed out I try to fix myself from doing it again. I love debating things(Greek side in me lol), especially the way politics have been going these past 10 years, but not just on politics on pretty much anything. It’s fun having a conversation showing people different sides of things to have a better understanding of why someone likes this candidate, or this movie, or why you thought that this one TV show is better than the one I think is the best TV show.
