Im a zimbabwean/british mixture from a little mining town up in northern alberta, so naturally I work in television production. I hate it when people cant tell Im being sarcastic so I try not to be when its not appropriate. Work for me means I'm tied up for long hours over long periods of time, normally this is tough on a relationship or at least it has been in the past. In between shows, I like to take road trips and since my other passion is restoring old motorcycles, I have a setup that I like and life is generally pretty sorted out except for the obvious...I don't meet anyone new and I simply ain't got the time to waste at a bar. Now 30, I tend to party less, or perhaps just differently...I still do go out a lot now that I think about it (but its 2 drinks and home type 'out')...just not on "dates" I guess.
I drink Old Fashioned's and appreciate literature, good grammar, art and all that shizzz but I'm not able to recite author's names and cool bands and I have a hard time with anything auto-tuned.
I guess I just want to learn new things about new people...thats what I think is missing right now, so throw whatever at me.
I realize you may have read this before and I am sorry I was so brief...so there I go, I opened up.
As for the YOU part...
I like a girl that takes care of herself, has a good relationship with herself and the world around her, I don't mean blind cheer but downers are not what Im looking for.
being really pretty is always a bonus, but if i can be specific (now that I'm being open) I don't like a crazy amount of makeup.
ok thats all I've got...for now
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
anything to get away from the internet.
