About Me
"Only Trust Your Heart," the title of a favorite of mine--jazz. I don't have a favorite musical genre nearly anything goes, but but I love The Beatles, Cole Porter and Ella Fitzgerald. When I say anything I mean anything with the exception of speed metal, degrading or debasing lyrics, or cruelty.
My philosophy of music is that it should inspire your imagination. When I was working in an undergraduate studio I used to listen to James Brown while I did needlepoint. It kept me dancing in my seat and in moments of deep enjoyment I'd almost sing out loud. It inspired Fridays with merengue and salsa at night clubs in my past when my feet would be compelled across the dance floor into the morning, and as I left with friends we'd still be laughing and dancing into the streets.
