Well hello there. My name is Jon. I don't know what it is you would like to know about me, so I'm going tell you what I'd like to know about you.
I would love to know what you do.
Is there room in your life for me and you?
I would love to know what you like.
Do you like to hang out, take pictures, or maybe bike?
I would love to know if you are real
or are you faking to boost your appeal?
I would love to know if you are strong,
or are you still trying to find where you belong?
I would love to know your desires in life.
I'd love to support them if you become my wife.
I would love to know what makes you unique.
We need something to talk about when we speak.
I would love to know if you will take a chance.
Let's start as friends before we advance.
Well as you can see, I do like poetry. This is just something I decided to put together to change up the profile a bit as I honestly don't have a clue what will entice a response from people on these things. I am a Christian guy who puts great value in honesty and loyalty in any relationship I am in, from business to personal.
Although I do have my own list of things that I am most attracted to in terms of physical appearance (as I am sure everyone does), I'm willing to consider attributes outside of that if I get to know someone and discover that they have a great personality as well. Ultimately, the personality is what you fall in love with, not the looks.
I tend to be most attracted to girls who have goals and ambitions of there own, yet are able to support me with mine as well. I believe a relationship should be a team thing. Neither of us will be perfect, and we will have struggles in our own lives that we may still be trying to figure out. But a solid relationship should build each other up, not tear each other down.
The best thing you can do right now is to get to know me. No one can judge someone by a couple sentences on a small screen, or a few old pictures. Not everyone you will meet on here or elsewhere will be your perfect match, but everyone has the potential to be a friend and may teach you something about yourself, or the world.
I promise I don't bite, and will take things at the speed they need to go. I value trust, and I don't intend to break that by doing something stupid or inappropriate on our first meet. I look forward to hearing from some of you.
Our first date will be somewhere public where we can talk and get to know each other. I am aware that there are a lot of concerns with dating these days, so I want you to be comfortable with the knowledge I am not looking for a hook up or anything else. I simply want us to get to know each other and see if we can be friends before even considering something more.
