Let's see.. How to try NOT to sound like I'm selling myself.. Hhmm.... Suppose I'll just go with some statements made by those who know me best:
Thoughtful, Caring, Considerate, Compassionate & Polite.
Infinitely Curious and Creative with a seemingly limitless Imagination.
Extremely flawed human being- (No one has actually said that to me, it just is. Friends would likely advise I leave this tid- bit out, but.. I probably give the flaws a little more attention than they deserve at times.. Anyway, moving on)- Flawed yes, but even more Sincere/Honest, (people have said that!).
Hard working, Set high goals for self. However, I don't seem to expect half as much from others.. In most situations.
Not a traditionalist or conformist, but I do have some "old fashioned" ideals.. On a similar note- I may just be a walking contradiction in some respects. For instance- I am admittedly a bit cynical when it comes to "Love", but, I'm also a hopeless romantic. What can I say?, It's a conundrum.
I believe in Passion, Romance, Truth, Open- Mindedness (ignorant need not inquire). Some of what I mentioned are abstract terms that mean different things to different people.. I'm eager to know what some of your thoughts/interpretations may be. Wanna chat? Maybe not?.. Okay then, lets continue, shall we?-
I enjoy having spirited discussions/debates about anything & everything- art, philosophy, politics, music, the weather, the color of the sky, spirituality- what is it?, what does it mean to you? does it exist? in what sense? Literally in love with may forms of music- ie; The Cramps, Tribe, Ramones, Misfits, Weezer, De La Sol, Nas, Pixies, Bowie, Bad Brains, The Killers, Mazzy Star, Portishead, Joy Division, Buzzcocks, White Stripes, Queens of the Stone Age, Das Racist, CKY, Patti Smith, Robert Johnson, Elliot Smith, Jeff Buckley, A Perfect Circle, and the list goes on & on. (I tend to walk around with my own personal soundtrack. Everyday is like a mini- movie, soundtrack varies day- to- day.
I'm also a big reader. Everything from historical non- fiction, biographies, sci- fi/fantasy, horror, suspense/thrillers, graphic novels, books on existentialism, poetry, scientific journals, philosophy, etc, etc.. Like feeding the brain! My taste in movies doesn't differ that much from my preference in literature. I like the obscure, off- beat, what some may consider "weird." Stuff like that.
As far as a potential mate: Must have a sense of humor/ be witty, a strong intellect, not be afraid to explore, uninhibited, someone who isn't afraid to give or receive affection. MUST be HONEST. A strong, independent woman, yet one who allows herself to be vulnerable around me. Oh, and kissing! Perhaps a little premature mention, but kissing is terribly important when/if the moment arises. There's much to be found out in a kiss.
Truth is, at least I think, I could type many versions of this profile, view tons of other people's, but still we'll never really know each other, if we, (collective "we") would fit despite/in spite of, similarities or differences.. Ultimately, like most on here, I'm just looking to make a connection. I don't really take this whole ordeal entirely serious, but am very open to the possibilities.. What may come.. Who knows? I have met some seemingly cool people on here. Some of it has been just swapping messages, a couple times this lead to meeting. I gotta say, the overall experience hasn't been a bad one. As of now, I've had no regrets.
Care to know more? Ask! I plan on doing the same.
To anyone that actually read this- thanks. You're a champ. Remind me to serenade you if we happen to meet.. (Honestly, I probably won't do that. But who knows? Inspiration may spring about, open up my inner Marvin Gaye) Or maybe I'll just bake you a cake. Do you like "funfetti" frosting? Rainbow chips? It's sinfully gooooood.
Alright, carry on as you were, perhaps we'll catch up...
