About Me
My name's Julie, my close friends call me Ju or Jules/Jubes. I have a great love of all things dogs, in particular training them, but I've also worked on photographing them. I have a college diploma in photography and had my own pet photography business for people and their pets. I more recently worked in veterinary hospitals for several years, which was extremely rewarding, but limiting. I am now working as a medical secretary.
I own a wonderful German Coolie (dog) who I have owned since he was 9 weeks old. I flew to the breeders in BC just to get him! He is my work in progress, he's a great worker! Some days he makes me mad, but most days he makes me smile and laugh out loud! He's quite the goof! I take great pride in training him and seeing him shine in all the sports we practice and compete in.
I grew up speaking both French and English at home. Thankfully I generally don't have an accent in either language! But I do say some things that give it away. Like: "Close the light" (Ferme la lumière) LOL
During my down time, I like spending time with friends doing anything from going out to dinner and a show, staying in and watching movies (no horror, preferably!), skiing, and always having a laugh! I'm a hockey chick at heart. I've played since I was 5 years old, until a few years ago. Not able to find a team to play with.
Oh yeah! I don't really drink.. Only because I don't like the taste of wine, beer or liquor. I'll drink those girly fruity drinks though! I also don't drink coffee.. or tea.. LOL So, a french vanilla from Timmy's is the closest to coffee you'll see me drink, but you can still buy me a cup! Hint! Hint! ;)
