Hey, I'm Mike.
I'd have to say that I spend a lot of time outside-- name an outdoor activity and I probably do it. Hiking and kayaking are on the top of the list.
I'm down for a lot, though. Always interested in trying something different and meeting some new people. If you think we'd click drop me a line.
Well, I graduated from Manhattanville College in 2012 with a BA in Environmental Science. At the moment I'm working for the DEC in New Paltz as a "watershed specialist."
Prior to this, I was worked down at Bear Mountain doing research on invasive species. Ever hear of mile-a-minute vine? I spent a lot of time developing and implementing a biocontol program to wipe it out of the area. -You're welcome.
I also make some extra cash by serving as a photographer and writer for a few science/outdoors magazines. I mainly do freelance work. Four of my articles are currently slated for publication.
