I have a pretty demanding career that requires a lot of time but I feel most people work 40+ hours in today's world. I DO have time for a relationship though and I'm finally willing to put my pride aside and seriously try the on-line thing. I'm mostly a home body during the week but I like to be outside as much as I can on the weekends.
I'm looking for a long term relationship with the right lucky lady. I'm a little shy at first but people that know me don't believe that when I tell them. I like to watch a lot of movies, and usually spend Sunday nights reading either work related stuff or something that I picked up randomly at a used book store.
I like having mini-adventures from time to time. Sometimes that means driving and not knowing where I'm going or what I'm looking for, sometimes that means trying to sneak back stage at a concert. Sometimes I feel like I can get caught up in the routine that life throws us in and want someone that has a creative side that will keep things interesting, a free spirit that keeps me on my toes.
Making a decent effort to stay active and eat healthy is important to me. Easier said than done though as I hear the Doritos calling to me now from the kitchen and laughing.
The romantic side of me wants the serendipity of bumping into "THE" girl when I least expect it but regretfully fate seems to have missed me or maybe I wasn't paying attention at the right time. Well, I guess I'll see if technology can do any better despite my skepticism. So, if you're bored of games but still enjoy playing board games, then I may be the guy for you!
First encounter or first date?
First encounter - a drink or an ice cream cone or a walk or maybe give each other haircuts. As long as it's someplace public though where there are other people around so you can't push me down and steal my sneakers or something. I'm not going through that again!
First date - 5,000 piece jigsaw puzzle with NO looking at the box! BOOM, that's how I roll. Take a number ladies.
