After realizing that I say this all the time, I realized I had to update my profile,
I enjoy listening to almost all kinds of music; classic rock is still my favorite. I try to get into the pool 4-5 times a week to either swim, or do a water weight workout. It helps my mind, as well as my body. I have two grown daughters, both of whom live out of state. My three year old grandson is the love of my life.
In my spare time I enjoy reading and doing the NY Times crossword puzzle. I'm a speech/language pathologist, and it gives me great satisfaction taking care of people who have suffered devastating illnesses, and helping them regain the ability so speak and eat. I consider myself to be a loyal and devoted friend. I am a member of WFUV, and have volunteered at their pledge drives for many years.
Last year I took on a new "hobby." I was a personal friend of a well known NY area radio personality, and he asked me to be an agent for him, getting him speaking engagements in different venues, such as libraries, synagogues and 55+ communities. It was an honor to work with him after being a fan of his for over 40 years, and an amazing experience speaking to people about him, as he was very well known. Unfortunately, he passed away a few months ago, and I lost a true friend.
