About Me
I'm originally from Los Angeles and have lived here in San Antonio for nine years. I work in the hotel industry but my real career path leads me to my passion for photography and writing which I do on the side. When I'm not working I usually fill the time by volunteering at something whether it's through my work or on my own. I love movies and tv, have an eclectic taste in music, read whatever catches my interest from a classic to history to a trashy novel. I travel as often as I could when my schedule and my wallet allows it. I make it a habit of trying something new as often as possible whether it's testing my palette to trying to rid my fear of heights. I see myself as a bit of an odd duck who has a lot of wide interests. I'm girly and a bit tomboyish. I'm happy in a comic book store, feel at peace in an art museum, darkroom or library and feel alive jumping out of a plane, flying one or dancing. I can be super active one day and just want to chill in my jammies watching TCM the next. I love my fishing days with my pop, my outings with my ma and Kdrama binging with my sisters which means family time is an important part in my life. I love a good horror movie (less gore movie more psychological i.e. The Shining, you know the kind that make you want to sleep with the lights on), cry every time I see Bambi (or a Hallmark commercial), geek out on Avengers or Star Wars, get old school with Fred and Ginger, and get serious with Empire of the Sun (my favorite movie ever). One day you may see me looking like something out of Stepford Wives to wearing my favorite hockey t-shirt, jeans and a hockey cap. And yes I do love my hockey (Red Wings and Rangers fan). If you're looking for a girl that is clingy, whiny, easily jealous and prissy then I am so not the girl for you. I like my independence and I have no intention of texting and calling someone so many times a day. I don't play games and I don't b.s. I find that jealousy equals insecurity and is tiring as hell. If you're a funny dude who I can have an intellectual duel with (I could say a light saber duel instead but that might be too geeky?), who spends most of his free time not on video games but the game that is life (though I don't mind a couple of battles on Mortal Kombat a few times here and there. Not interested in the ones that play for so long they start wearing Depends just so they don't have to go to the bathroom.), who likes to shower (hygiene, it's all about hygiene), who doesn't mind a sarcastic, honest (as in too much), geeky, ditzy, competitive individual then by all means do respond. Oh and lastly if you didn't get it by the reference of Bambi several sentences ago, hunters of the cute and furry need not bother. (I mean I do like to shoot at targets as long as it doesn't have a pulse).
