Let's see... I wish it wasn't necessary, but I'll list the prerequisites first. I have a steady job, my own place, and a car. I don't have kids (yet), and there are no messy divorces or serious baggage in my past.
On to the nicer things...My family's farm a few hours outside of Boston is my favorite place on earth. It's a little piece of paradise out in western Mass with the two best German Shepherds on the planet. I try to get out at least a couple times a month (especially in the summer, when things get busy). I've lived my whole life in the city, so it's a real pleasure. I have family in England as well, and try get across the pond as much as possible. Side trips to Europe are always fun.
I'd love to meet someone decent and kind...intelligent, but not cynical (well, not completely cynical).
I really want to perfect a red wine reduction sauce one day.
Coffee doesn't get nearly enough credit.
Planning a trip, any trip, is one of the best uses of time in the world.
I still get excited when I see tire swings.
Sometimes I pretend to know what I'm doing when ordering wine at dinner.
I think idiosyncrasies are sexy.
Scotch and steak are two things that should never be bought on the cheap.
