I currently work in a mental health institute with kids. I also work a few hours a month with developmentally disabled adults in their homes. In the short term, I love almost everything about what I do In the long run I plan on getting a degree in nursing, but I'd like to remain in the psychiatric field working with developmentally disabled and mentally ill individuals.
When I'm not working I enjoy writing, watching SciFi shows, reading, and spending time with friends. Most evenings I can be found at the dog park watching my pup being anti-social (odd but entertaining) or at home reading about something that randomly caught my interest. I love cooking, especially when I can share it with other people. I consider myself to be fairly easy to get along with and the kind of person people feel they can safely confide in.
That's kind of me in a nutshell. If you have questions, feel free to message me.
There's nothing I'd love more than a long walk on the beach with a glass of fine wine and watching the sunset after a candlelit dinner filled with conversations about French films. Ugh. My fingers burn having typed that. In seriousness though, anything that leaves plenty of room for laughter and conversation is fine by me.
