My motto: "Make an entrance, make it memorable and above all, make a difference!"
I am a single mom of a great 20-yr. old son who is my world. But now that he’s safely off to college studying for a doctorate in Osteopathic Medicine, I have some free time on my hands. My passions include photography, writing, and making both work in symbiotic harmony with each other in design. It's all about savoring and then preserving "moments" of life in perpetuity...
Art and photography are huge parts of my life. Not only is it my business, but my passion--so much so that I recently opened a gallery/gift shop in downtown San Jose, where I not only showcase my work, but I represent more than 50 local artists in an effort to help them develop a following as well.
Almost as much a passion is my writing, with three books published and three more in the works. But with the new shop, this is on hold for now.
I love spending time at the beach, breathing in the salt air in harmony with the crashing of each wave, or in a mountain cabin near a crackling fire, or traveling to distant countries...dancing, skydiving, flying, sailing and wine tasting are favorite pastimes, along with venturing out to museums, the symphony and the theatre.
Two years ago, I kept my promise to take my son skydiving for his 18th birthday and we are planning to go again (this time in Vegas) for his 21st birthday. In return, he has offered to help me with scuba diving certification so we can plan an underwater adventure in Hawaii soon...
Of course, as a photographer, I love to travel and experience the beauty that countries around the world have to offer. I've been fortunate to have traveled to France, Italy, Copenhagen, Sweden and Africa. I still long to see more of the world, including so many places right here in the states that I've yet to see and shoot... I see a road trip in the future!
I love animals of all kinds and rescued a 4 month old pup in need of a loving home a couple of years ago. I still miss the dog I had for nearly 18 years and she fits the bill perfectly as my new unconditional love companion.
My idea of the perfect man is someone who shares the same desires, but is also willing to stop and smell the roses. I tend to stop and photograph the most unusual things. The perfect man would also be willing to share his life and passions with me. In exchange, I promise to share new perspectives and appreciation for the smallest things that you never noticed before, while preserving special moments spent together discovering them...after all, life isn't about the destination, rather the journey!
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Drinks or a light meal in a quiet outdoor setting so that we can get to know one another well enough to decide if and where to take things from there.
