About Me
I have been teaching English/language arts for 21 years (I'm secretly correcting your profile...), & I still love it. I stay active by running races (5k-10k's, trail series, half marathons, & Ragnar relays). My teen daughters are my life, & I remain very involved in their lives. I'm usually outside biking, hiking, kayaking, camping, poking a big fire - always something active....and I love to travel & explore new places as well as share my secret spots.
I am originally from the Midwest, living here since 2008. I also resided in Europe for a year as a Fulbright scholar & had the life-changing opportunity to discover much of Central & Western Europe, as well as Northern Africa, with my daughters. At that point, traveling became a part of me. I've since visited Thailand, too, & returned to Europe, but only alone. Next time, I want a good traveling companion.
You are an independent, secure, honest, content man within five years my junior or senior who is searching for the same. You communicate, openly & honestly, your intentions.
