I'm looking for someone who likes to try new things. I don't have a particular type of person in mind. I keep an open mind. I'm a foodie and like to try new restaurants. I'm a hard worker, but I take time to enjoy the better things in life. I am quite handy and I am always doing home improvements projects. I just built a new porch for my friends house. It looks good and it hasn't fallen down.... yet. I collect odd things like comic books, watches, and coins. But I am not a hoarder.......yet. My favorite music is disco. I like the rhythm of disco better than the slow pace of country music or the chaotic sound of new age music. Rap gives me a headache. Please pass the Tylenol. I travel to Germany often as my family roots are there. Winter is my best time of year. The more snow the better. Who wants to celebrate Christmas morning without lots of white snow on the ground. I'm a good cook and that goes along with me being a total foodie. I toyed with becoming a master chef but haven't taken the leap yet. I hope to read some of the profiles on here and see what type of people frequent this site. There is someone for everyone I am told, and if you look long enough, they will show up, provided your eyes don't give out in the interim. When the time is right, things just happen -- that is how it is supposed to be. I'm not sure what else to write at the moment, but if you read what I wrote so far and some of it sounds like you, then send me a note. Too many people ignore the beauty that nature has to offer, and when I can, I try to scuba dive at all of the popular diving resorts. My boat needs a little work cosmetic-wise, but it still runs pretty good. I overhauled the motor on it last month; it hasn't blown up.........yet. If you like being on the water, that is a plus. I like taking long walks. The last one I took wasn't the best as it started to pour and I ruined my shoes. They were on the way out anyway (and were too tight) so nature helped them along I think. Nature's law--only the fittest survive (shoes included I guess). Does anyone even read these profiles anyway, or do they just look at the pictures? I would bet the latter. I'm heading to Vegas next month; does anyone ever win there? I hope to see Wayne Newton there. Would have liked to see Sinatra perform -- there's a guy who lived life to the fullest with the Rat Pack. Was Dean Martin always drunk or did he just act that way? They sure did some funny roasts on TV. Is this beginning to give War and Peace a run for the money as the longest read ever. I am running behind reading all of my messages on this forum so if I don't respond immediately to yours, please be patient.
