Most of the ladies I've dated in my past are now friends, and they have mentioned that they were "glad we dated".....including my 'one' former wife. I'm guessing that's something most guys cannot truthfully say. (I've gained some real great friends with that way of being!) :-)
How, in a small space, do you give someone a glimpse into your soul and personality?.....well, here goes my attempt! Hopefully after reading this profile, you'll know a fair amount about me. :-)
Just an everyday guy here; no big surprises! :-) I'm outgoing (sometimes even a bit silly) when out in a crowd having fun, but can be more quiet and reserved when on the personal level. Most do see me as a fun person to be around, and a sense of humor is usually an on-going thing. I am a communicator and believe that communication is important in life's travels.
I do own my own home, tend to be on the neat side, clean up after myself, and will not dig holes or dig up shrubs in the yard when I get outside! Ruff, Ruff!! LOL (Just kidding, but I'am neat, love the outdoors, am mechanically handy, and if needed, not afraid to get dirt under my nails.) I at least try to enjoy life in general. Very little baggage is another asset that I do enjoy; was only married once.
I do some acting/extra work as a hobby when they are shooting a film in the area. Also trained to do commercials and 'voiceovers' (Gifted with radio/disc jockey voice)
I like getting out for dinner, watching a movie (at home or out), plays, heading out to view some of this country's scenery on the Harley (Love the freedom/wind), taking a walk together, or just plain kicking back and enjoying each others company with a glass of wine and conversation.
I do dress for whatever the occasion calls for, and will plan fun things to do, but many times last minute ideas are the best for fun!! I'm told I dance well and like most types of music, so you could easily talk me into "Getting out on the floor". ;-) My favorites are Classic and Soft Rock, with a bit of country thrown in, but Rap is NOT considered music in my world. LOL
I have been on a several cruises, totally enjoy them, and would go on another!
I walk to stay in shape, work out some, and do a little orgamized hiking with friends.
I love the Southwest with it's great sunny weather, and I spend part of the year out in Las Vegas. Their weather seldom ever gets in the way of any outdoor plans. Have done some foreign travel; London, Mexico, Canada,& British Columbia. (Actually, the Marine Corps "insisted" I see the island of Okinawa a few years back! Tee Hee Hee!...) Semper Fi, fellow Marines!
Overall, I can be pretty spontaneous, and am in for anything fun.
I like antique cars and also older bikes! You can pretty much figure hiking, nature, travel, dancing, good food, museums, BBQing, family items, comedy, motorcycling in the country, and anything outdoors are favorites of mine.
I do sing karaoke with friends (after a drink or two, of course..LOL), but with my deep voice, I have to be selective with the song I pick; karoake is fun and alot of laughs with a group! ;-)
(Hey, bottom line, I'm considered a fun person and do enjoy people overall. Told I rarely act my age, and smile frequently. I tend to be drawn toward a gal that trys to take care of herself and her figure.
It's fun to share, so let's see if we click! I do not have any kids, although I do enjoy "well balanced" children.
Let's talk a bit and see where things go. Finding a new friend is always a nice level, but who knows......?
I think "IT'S IMPORTANT TO SMILE OR LAUGH FREQUENTLY"! :-)
To first meet, coffee or a drink in a quiet place where we could talk is a good start. If we match well, then we'd make further plans.
On our first outing, I am pretty much open to almost anything fun..... I like most kinds of foods, so we'd head out to any type of restaurant food that you would enjoy (Mexican is my personal favorite, but I usually tend to eat more on the healthy side)....Actually, the ONLY food I truly dislike is liver...YUKKKKK!!
After dinner, we may head out to dance and share a few drinks and talk a bit.
