Finally giving the online thing a try...
I suppose I may have finally reached that point in my life where meeting people at bars and parties just isn't appealing anymore. Or maybe it's just a phase ... guess that partly depends on how interesting you folks are. :)
I've got my sh*t together, for the most part. I have a job, a home, transportation. My own interests and hobbies. I'm not looking for someone to take care of, or to take care of me.
I've done the young love thing, and when that fell apart did the whole finding myself thing. And now I feel like I've come to a point where it's time to venture out of my current comfort zone and find new people to learn and grow from.
So, I took a few years off from the dating / hook up scene and focused on myself and being a mom. I'm still a work in progress, but I think I'm ready to meet new people and develop new relationships. I'm really not looking for anything specific other than someone who understands that dating in your 30s is different than dating in your 20s.
I have a kid, his needs and my time with him will always come before you. Hell, most days his needs come before my own.
I have a mortgage and a full time job. Those responsibilities are also a priority. No, I won't regularly call in sick to take off to the beach or stay in bed all day with you. Although, I didn't say never. ;)
I have a million things I would much rather spend my time doing than taking selfies to send to you. So, please don't ask every 10 minutes for more pictures. I have a life.
I don't go to the "club" or bars every night. If I want to drink or party I can do that with friends in the comfort of one of our homes.
If none of that is a deal breaker and you enjoy the company of an intellectual introvert who thinks getting lost together in the labyrinth of Powell's books is a prefect first date then we should chat.
Some other things I enjoy:
