“Passion is the quickest to develop, and the quickest to fade. Intimacy develops more slowly, and Commitment more gradually "
I'm somewhat new to the the area, moved here from Seattle about 7 1/2 yrs ago to be with family and to escape the grey skies ! My recent past has involved caring for and watching over my mother who was in fragile health and I decided to put my social life on hold to be there for her. She has since passed and so here I'am.......
I'm very fortunate to be working and to love my job...I work in radiation oncology and am humbled everyday by the kindness of the patients during a very scary and uncertain time in their lives. It's taken a while over the years, but I feel blessed to finally have found that job that really fits with me.
My free time right now is spent with my family and friends...and their all so very special to me...I love to take off and explore this new place I’ve moved to..so many unknown roads..
I'm looking for that someone who is generous with his heart and not reserved in showing it...someone who laughs easy, someone who would find joy in sitting on a porch, drinking coffee, and listening to a brand new day begin, someone who is comfortable being in jeans in the garden and able to put on a tie later to go out on the town ;=). I'm looking for my very best friend...someone who brings endless joy and love to my life and can accept all that is returned......
I'm glad that you have a life of your own, and that you will invite me to be a part of it. I am also glad that you want to be part of mine. I do not complete you and you do not complete me because we are already whole individuals. Together, however, we see the possibilities of being much, much more and want to join each other in that pursuit. We look at the future with hope, and delight in the possibilities, not the differences. We respect and honor each others particular interests. We love because of what is in our hearts. We share what we have and what we are with others. We laugh and love.....a lot...
One of my all time favorite saying's and it applys to my life .....Take a leap of faith, you will either land solidly on your feet, or you will learn how to fly !!
I wish for you love !
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Maybe meeting for coffee (getting that first akwardness behind us) and then.....? ;-)
