About Me
I'm easy going and keep active. When I'm not working, I'll go out with friends, work out, read, write, or just go for a walk.
I work out at least five times per week. I take Tae Kwon Do classes and help teach in my son's class- the kids are a riot and keep me feeling young. I also love being on and around the water. I've been camping twice with my son this last year and hope to take more short trips next year. I'm also interested in trying new things like zip lining. A few years ago I did the Richard Petty Driving Experience. The only downside was they wouldn't let me go any faster than 140. I'd like to do it again in some place like Daytona or another superspeedway so I can go faster.
I've worked for the Federal Government for more than 20 years - civilian and active duty military. I'm fortunate to have a stable job with lots of flexibility. One of the best things about my job is that I get to work from home most of the time.
I have done some writing as a creative outlet. I've published one short story in a small anthology and have a draft novel I've been editing.

Movies: A mix. The best movie I've seen in 2012 was Argo, but I also loved The Avengers.
Family is very important to me. My son is my favorite person and my favorite source of entertainment.
