About Me
I'm a morning person and I can have a lot of energy (especially after my coffee). But I also appreciate the finer things in life, like a good nap and cuddle on the couch.
I spent years working in night clubs and I do know how to go out. I love to see live music (pretty partial to Punk, alt Country, and, go figure, Classical, but I simply appreciate music so I'm always open to new sounds) but don't do it as much as I'd like - maybe you would like to join me? I have learned to enjoy the finer things and like to get dressed up for an evening or dressed down. I own moto boots as well as lovely heels...
I think it both my privilege and responsibility to be aware of what's going on in the world around me, both locally and internationally. I don't necessarily enjoy politics but I believe it's my world and I would like to see it a particular way (more equitable and less violent) so I have to be aware to help it move that way. One way I do this is by teaching, another is acting consciously in my life. I like to be with people of a similar mind. You don't have to be into politics, just aware of the world and have opinions about it!
I have a successful career and it keeps me busy but not too busy so I have time for fun and someone special in my life. I like to spend my free time working on my house (I could use help with that!) and playing in the yard and at the beach with my son.
I am active and enjoy being healthy. I exercise frequently but I'm not a nut about it. It just makes me happy. Mostly I chase after a very active little guy and swim with him at the beach or pool. I love the outdoors and try to be in nature as much as I can - not too easy in the city... I grew up in NorCal and I love big trees and a gray day on a rocky coast line. I also love warm water and tropical sun - swimming with colorful fish is a must for a good vacation.
