Are you tired of dating people that can't hold up their end of a conversation??? Me too!! I am looking for a smart, witty, intelligent man who can match wits with me!
I am a single, self-employed, mom of 2 kids in High School, so I'm not quite an empty nester yet, but I do find myself with more time for "me" now that they are busy with their own lives, although, of course, they are still my world.
I am open and fun loving, and definitely a hopeless romantic. Do you like little notes left for you? Do you want to feel like your woman is totally devoted to you? How about some dancing in the moonlight on the patio, or maybe in the living room or even the kitchen??
I wouldn't describe myself as a high-energy always on the go person, I'm a more laid-back type. I love to read, listen to music, take trips to the beach in my RV, work on home improvements and spend time with friends & family. I am spontaneous when the "feeling"/ "day" is going right, so if you are the kind of person who makes plans weeks in advance, unless its an extravagant vacation, I'm probably not the one for you.
I am a Christian and you need to be as well. My Christianity has brought me through many trials in my life, and its an integral part of who I am.
At this point in my life, I am looking for someone, with or without kids, to share my life with. I am petite, only 5'2", but I do tend to like taller men. As I said my kids are older, so I have more time to devote to a relationship. I am not interested in having any more kids myself, but I do LOVE kids, so I am open to getting to know yours, if you have them. - and if you are young with Grandkids.. ALL the Better too!
I can be "conventional" when I need to be, but I do tend to be kind of "funky" sometimes... I love old 70's music, like James Taylor and Crosby Stills, & Nash... etc. I also listen to Christian music often. A good glass of wine sitting on the patio by the pool listening to music suits me just fine... maybe the BBQ is going too...
