About Marc
I'm an educated professional, part cowboy, part geek, part hero, part bad-boy (good thing I studied with masters or the duality-issues would immobilize me). I run a small IT Consulting business (Certified Apple Consultant) and in grad school full time for my MBA-IT. Until recently my home included 3 dogs, 7 horses and 3 alpaca. My favorite foods are sushi (could live on it exclusively), Thai, BBQ, ribs. In my spare time (ok, I have no spare time) I like to spend it camping, theme parks, natural hot springs, reading, talking, movies, or better yet, reading to each other, cuddling, embracing, soft kisses (at least they start out that way), and soul staring.
I'm really good at:
Computers - specifically Macintosh. That is part of the geek in me.
Communication - Though I'm best known for speaking (used to do so nationally and internationally), I love the listening end as well, truly getting how another experiences the world.
Learning - I'm a bit of an info sponge. I'll read books on any topic. Those topics that interest me drive me OCD to learn more.
Teaching - My first teaching experience was giving guitar lessons at 15, taught hypnotherapy at the college, conducted IT certification courses nationally, and currently teach Macintosh courses at UNM. No better way to learn than by teaching!
Eating - Probably shouldn't say anymore about that.
Though I made my living through music as a young man, music is not that important to me now. But when my mind is not otherwise engaged you will find me with earbuds in listening to audio books or podcasts - TED, SGU, Sex Nerd Sandra, Harvard Business Review, Johns Hopkins, QuackCast, Science Times, and many more.
