About Me
Damn. Where does one begin? Our hero was born and raised in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with two parents and one older sister. Went to school with roughly the same cast of characters all the way through, which means some pretty strong/old friendships. Somewhere around 9th grade, he realized that referring to himself in the third person is really weird, He, I mean, I immediately knocked that crap off. Just pretend the first part was read by Morgan Freeman..
From high school, I went striaght to the U of C and began a degree in Political science. Along the way, I made a whole mess more really good friends, and developed a life-changing addiction that involves a great deal of fluffy white stuff. But before you get all worried, it was snowboarding. What did you think it was? Sheesh.
Very early in life, I fell in love with Monty Python, Fawlty Towers and other old British comedies, so that's definitely influenced my personality and sense of humor. And later on, so would South Park... I also heard my first hard rock/metal song when I was 11, and the noise that the guitars made definitely changed my tastes. My tastes have become insanely varied over the years, and I don't really DISLIKE any music as long as it can me me move.
Oh, yeah, and I guess you could call me old-fashioned, but I believe in treating people the way I'd want to be treated.

First Date
In a perfect world, a day snowboarding (or skiing, if you're a two-planker) knee deep fresh powder, then a rock show or a Flames game in the evening. But who knows how often the stars might align...?
As cliche as it sounds, for a first date, I'll still maintain that the old standby of drinks, dinner or coffee is a damn fine way to get to know someone.
