About Me
I am from North Carolina, which I am convinced is one of the most beautiful states in the country. I can usually be found doing outdoor activities (camping, backpacking, trail running), or enjoying beer outside somewhere. I read a fair amount, though I’m not a fan of fiction, really. My musical tastes are kind of odd, ranging from early 90’s Midwest indie, to ambient stuff that sounds kind of like blank noise. I know, your “turn on meter” must be raging, right? I’m fairly middle of the road in my political beliefs, which I think makes me easy to get along with, no matter what it is you believe. The dynamics of politics these days dictate that its fairly tough to align yourself with a particular side, for any extended period of time. I went to college in NC, then I spent some time in the Marines, and now I work for some other dudes in Washington, DC. My hobbies include the above mentioned outdoor activities, extended travel, good beer and food I can eat with my hands (ever try Ethiopian?). I like nights out on the town, as well as nights out in the woods, and even nights on the couch. I've done the online dating thing before, and had some interesting encounters, both good and bad.
