About Me
I suppose I've met my goal. I worked for the state for 30 years and I am now retired.I now have the time to relax and not worry about schedules. I was a Safety/Security officer for an area psychiatric hospital. I was fortunate to enjoy and appreciate my job unlike a lot other people I know. I don't know what makes me unique. I think of myself more of a simple person (no wise cracks). I have a good sense of humor and that's important in any one I go out with. I like to think that I'm sensitive of other people's feelings and try to be supportive in their goals. I volunteer at a animal shelter. I enjoy walking the dogs. It hurts to see these poor animals locked up, but I know I'm doing good by spending time with them. I belong to the Broadway Theatre League, where they have great shows every season. It goes with my love for entertainment. As far as movies, I enjoy all kinds of genres as long as they're well made. Nothing like sitting in a darkened theater, watching a movie on the wide screen. As far as music, I still like 50's and 60's. What can I say I grew up during those times. I think I've babbled long enough if anyone is still reading. Hope to hear from someone soon.

First Date
It might sound like a clique, but coffee on a first date seems like a good idea. Instead of running from a restaurant screaming, you probably can stick it out for half an hour. When we find out more about each other, then we can plan on something we both can enjoy on a next date. Another possibility is going for a simple walk and get to know one another.
