About Me
Let me tell you a few things about me. Maybe we have similar interests. I am a full time student and single father raising my eleven year old son. He is at the age where he can pretty much take care of himself. This is a blessing but also is hard to take. He does not need his dad that much anymore. He also has a sister that lives with their mother. She is thirteen and I really could not ask for a better set of kids. Since he is old enough to take care of himself, I am going back to school to receive a business degree. It has been a long time coming.
I enjoy doing outdoor activities like camping, fishing, swimming and going to parks around the state. I have a pop up camper and we take it out when we can. Just like all of us, I enjoy watching movies. No genera in particular. I probably like comedies a little bit more than anything else. Sorry if you are a big sports fan. I am not. I can stand to watch a little bit, but I have to be pretty damn bored. I do play tennis though. That is about the only sport I will watch a little bit of. Nothing regularly though. I am not a gamer. I grew out of that in my early twenties. My son does enough of that for the both of us. I do not really watch much television either. About the only series that I like to watch is Breaking Bad. That and maybe something interesting on the discovery channel. I am just not to big on all of the reality shows that are on now. I think that watching other people live their life is kind of silly.
I would consider myself a little bit of a nerd I guess. When I have time to kill with nothing to do at the house, I am usually playing around on the computer, reading articles, being involved in online forums or spending too much time on facebook or youtube. First Date
Nothing too fancy or over the top. I think people should get to know each other a little bit before they start getting too involved. Meeting on neutral ground has always seemed to be the best bet. A coffee shop, a dive bar or an informal restaurant are all good first dates. There is no reason to take someone to the fanciest eating establishment in the state for the first date. It puts pressure on both parties and you are more than likely not going to be yourself. Then if we hit it off, maybe we could go to a park or see some sights around town. Just whatever feels right to us.
