About Me
Hey, what's up? I'm Cody. I'm not going to sit here and write about how nice of a guy I am or waste your time writing things that you've probably read a million times before. In reality personality is all relative to the people around you and how they perceive you. I'm originally from northern Illinois, current serving in the army at FT. Drum. My job in the army equates to information technology, I work on computer networks. From time to time I do get the opportunity to do some pretty high speed stuff though, I was just informed last week that I will be attending air assault school. That being said I am very active and physical fitness is a big part of my life. I am in the gym typically no less then four days a week, in addition to that I also play ice hockey. I realize that there can be a bit of a stigma with the military, this is not a life style for me and I don't plan on doing this for the rest of my life, it's just a means to an end. That end being returning to school for my masters degree and working on starting a career in animation. I feel as though I reached the point in my life where I want to find the right person and settle down, however just because I want to settle down does not in any way mean that I plan on slowing down. I'm really looking for someone who feels that they can keep up with my energy and activity level. I am also NOT on here for random hook ups or to play games, if that your thing then more power to you but you'll need to be looking elsewhere.
When I'm not working or in the gym, as I mentioned before, I play hockey. I will be playing for the FT. Drum (the Mountaineers) post team this season. I also enjoy drawing. In addition to that I also noodle around a bit on the guitar, ten year learning process there.
Musically I have pretty eclectic taste, anything from classical to death metal and anything in between. However I'm not really much into hardcore rap or black metal (the satanic crap). A few of my favorite bands include Aerosmith, Metallica, Megadeth, and Guns N' Roses. I've been getting into country more as I've gotten older and really like Jason Aldean and Brad Paisley.
As far as movies go I'll admit I'm a huge Star Wars nerd, not so much so that I feel the urge to dress up but a nerd no the less, I also enjoy the Indiana Jones movies, The Crow, Braveheart, etc. It really doesn't have to be an action movie, I enjoy anything that has been well thought out.
What I'm looking for: I'd like to find someone close to my own age, who is serious about physical fitness. In my eyes fitness is not about appearance it's a life style that promotes health and youthfulness. I would like to find someone who has many of the same interests, but also has some of their own that I may wish to adopt and like wise.

First Date
I'm not too keen on the idea of a movie or concert as a first date as it would provide much opportunity to really talk and get to know one another. Really that initial meeting needs to be some place where we can talk, maybe ice skating or dinner. We want to be able to make that second date, right?
