Hello out there!
I am looking to meet someone who makes me laugh treats me with respect. Knows when to be close and when to be far away. Is ok with me being my own independant self. Someone who is ok getting out and experiencing life. Not the lets jump off highrises or throw ourselves down a river kind of experiences. I mean in travelling to far away places or local. See whats out there.
A little bit about me. I work in the medical field and right now am pursuing work in a mission field. I hope to be with doctors without borders working in my work field. Or I would really love to go work in Mexico. I have been there a couple of times and fell in love with the culture, the people and the history. I am right now learning italian and spanish. I am planning on travelling to Italy next spring and spanish I will need on the field. I am also looking into getting my degree in religious studies. Yes I am christian but dont let that scare you off. I am not into preaching the Bible or trying to change people thats not my thing. I am here to meet someone long term christian or otherwise. Love isnt concerned about backgrounds or beliefs I think anyway.
I have a dog and a cat. They keep me busy at times. My dog is a rescue dog and needs a little extra loving at times. She is a sweetheart. My cat is pretty on her own and likes it that way lol.
I am close with my family. I think in life you need to be close to family they never change, they never go away and they love you unconditionally at least in my family they do. I feel for those of us that never had that expereince with their own families.
I really enjoy travelling. I try to get away at least once a year sometimes just spur of the moment. I enjoy trying new food. Weirdest thing I have ever eaten out of the many weird foods would have to be crickets. They were wonderful salted and limed in Mexico mmm. I am trying to learn how to cook. I have a taken a few cooking classes and really enjoyed them. I am getting into gardening although my garden is just a box garden still its fun. I really like wood working as well. My dad and make things together.
