My family is important to me, although most of them live out of town, but we stay very close. I have friends that are like family to me ... I really value those ties of family and friendship.

First Date
I think the first date should be very casual and non-commital. Maybe coffee under an umbrella at Starbucks. If we click, maybe lunch or dinner. We aren't superficial, are we?, to admit that we are attracted to someone by their looks, as well as their personality. If you would like to be with someone for the rest of your life, we kinda need to like the view... right? But, after we meet and if we like each other... maybe the first real date should be something special so we can look back on that being a sweet memory.
