About Me
To start with, I am looking for someone serious, someone who is interested in dating first and possibly having a real relationship at some point, as I am not here to play games or be someone who I am not. .......I am not looking for an instant girlfriend or a one night stand, as there is no point in that! I have read plenty of profiles to know what people are looking for - I don't have shirtless pictures, nor claim to be Mr. Stud or Mr. Perfect! I am just an honest hard working guy looking to spend time with someone new and enjoy their company! I own 2 story house by myself, I have my own cars, I have a good well-paying job, and most important I have a big heart which if you get to know me goes along way! I am the type of person that goes out of his way to help a friend or even a stranger, and when needed I do what ever I can to help those close too me! I am currently learning Spanish along with Spanish dancing as a hobby!
I am currently a single father with a 1yr old and love him to death,he does mean the world to me so dating someone with kids or someone who doesn't mind me having a kid is someone who I am looking for. I work out on a regular basis - just to stay fit, I try and eat healthy but have those moments where I crave fast food! I do the normal things around the house - cook, clean, laundry, shopping. I love animals, and am currently looking to get a boxer added to my household! I am a Cubs fan (don't hate me for that), love the Hawks and Bears. I love to drive, so distance is not a factor for me nor is going on road trips which I do at least once or twice a year! I know religon is touchy for alot of people, so I do not judge, I am always willing to listen and learn about what you are interested in, as far as me I do watch Joel Osteen on Sundays as I feel what he has to say is very inspriring and easy to relate too!
I know that the only way to really get to know somebody is by actually talking with them! I am looking for someone who is open, honest, caring and who is close to their family! Someone who enjoys going out dancing (not clubbing), going to the movies, hanging with friends, bowling, just getting out and trying new resturants and activities......Someone who is also ok with staying in and cuddling by the fireplace watching a movie or playing video games - guitar hero or having a nice romatic dinner!
I am hoping that I can meet that special someone that I can be excited about seeing when they text or call, and at some point I am looking for someone who I come home too and ask how their day was, someone I can carry to bed if they fall asleep on the couch, someone I can look into their eyes and tell them they are beautiful even if they just woke up! I have a big heart and I try to make that someone special feel like a queen as much as possible as you deserve a break from a long week of working! Some of my excellent qualities are - I am a good listener, a good shoulder to cry on, give great advice, someone who is honest and respectful and knows that everyone has their own life to live so even though you have someone new you shouldn't close off your friends! I enjoy all activities indoor and out - skiing, biking, horseback riding (I own a horse), grilling, bowling, sporting events, movies - at home or going out! I guess I am looking for that special someone to talk to, to have a good time with, to enjoy life as one, as we only live once and I would like to share all my moments with that someone special!

First Date
First off, our first date would of course be something we can both agree on,I can be very spontaneous and can plan to do something new and exciting or just do the norm, I just want to make sure you are comfortable! I am very open to both sides of the coin, I would be willing to meet for coffee and talk, or a nice dinner and movie, or even hit up bowling, a museum or mini-golf......................The first date I understand is the most important, yet most pertinent and can be a very nervous time for both people,which is why I hope to take you to a nice open comfortable spot which sets the stage for being able to open up and talk and have a good time and be ourselves.
