About Me
Hey All,
Just moved from Oshawa (originally from Ottawa) and since I don't really know anyone out this way and I'm interested in meeting new people.
I'm pretty easygoing, I like to joke around and have fun, but at the same time I can be very serious when the situation calls for it.
When I'm driving and there's a good song on, I'll attempt to sing along so don't be shy, join in! ;-D
I enjoy hanging out, chilling at home on the couch or going out for shenanigans. The outdoors is great, but inside can be too. :-)
I like to spend time with people that I care about, be it checking out museums, galleries, shopping, doing activities or just staying home and hanging out. I'm not clingy but hugging is awesome, so I enjoy physical closeness. :-)
Despite my easygoing-ness, I'm pretty passionate with my interests and whatever I'm working on, be it hobbies or actual work. I tend to be super focused when I need to be... like working hard to get further in my chosen career, especially.
I like cars (would love to try out motorcross), comedy (stand-up, tv, movies, internet), most movies and some games, squash and tennis, bike riding, rollerblading, martial arts (kung fu, tai chi, archery and kendo), art (traditional and digital), Traveling and so much more...
You could say that I'm a little into comic-book and movie culture but I'm not a ravid/screaming fanboy of anything in particular. I tend to like a lot of things, and fortunately I'm not a snob. I'm a bit of a cinephile and I love to quote random movies at times. My Ahhhnold impersonation isn't too shabby, Get to da Choppah!
I like most music, with the exception of Honky-Tonk Country and Death Metal (regular varieties of those two are fine)... I currently like the new Foo Fighter's album and will listen to just about anything, but I love 90s alternative the most. Recently been getting into the Rolling Stones and Pink Floyd, gotta respect the classics.
Also, my daughter is the hugest part of my life, I'm a very dedicated father so please try to be accommodating! She has a regular sitter, so its not like I have to be at home constantly or anything. I realize that having a kid is a deal-breaker for most, but if you have as big of a heart as I do, and are willing to accept that I have a little munchkin, then we'll get along just fine. :-)

I'd like to make some new friends that enjoy hanging out and doing stuff together. I'd prefer making a few close friends rather than a bunch of acquaintances.
People that aren't into headgames or doing really dangerous stuff (although some degree of risk is always fun). I'm very straightforward and I usually mean what I say, I'm a very honest and thoughtful guy (unless you see a really stupid grin on my face - Thar be Trollin' in the deep.)
Just trying to meet some people in my area, and in downtown Toronto as well.
Ideally, it would be awesome to meet someone that's a good match, but I'm willing to keep trying until I find the right one. :-D
So we could start by grabbing a coffee, or a beer after work. Just sitting and chatting while getting to know the other person a bit more is the ideal.
If things go well, we could always kick it up a notch by going to a Comedy Club or listening to some live music, or something else fun!
