About Me
When asked what my hobbies are, I just shrug and say I don't know, or don't have time. I work MOST of the time...I teach, leave, and go to my next job which I absolutely love. After spending almost all day for the last nine years in a classroom, I look forward to my afternoons/evenings in a gym (my second job) where I can talk, laugh and sweat out stress.

Let me just list things; both positive and negative(depending on the person).
- On my off hours, I like to spend girl time with friends, or just sit back with a glass of wine and read a book I'm a girly girl, but hate clothes shopping... friends know to warn me ahead of time when they want to go and to include shoes in the mix.
-I like a good horror movie, but the sight of real blood grosses me out. I'll watch just about any movie, but try to stay away from the overly, "oh brother", eye-roll-inducing, sappy ones.
- I can't really say what my favorite music is because most of the time I don't know the title or who sings it, but when driving you'll find me scrolling through the radio and singing along to whatever is on (off key). If I don't know all the words, I'll mouth along and pretend.
- Like my students, I can't sit still. I also can chatter on and on in a room full of kids, but put me in front of adults, and I'll 'umm' through the entire speech/discussion. This sometimes gets me into trouble because I just want the whole thing to be over so fast, that I'm blunt, and to the point.
- No one gets my jokes or my sarcasm, and I get funny looks from my students for laughing at myself a lot.
