About Me
At the risk of being cliche here I suppose I'll start by saying that I really don't know what to put here.
My name is Amanda, and I'm a native Floridian....just have moved around the state a little bit.
I am currently working at a call center here in town, as a customer service representative, with not much else to do aside from work and home.
I want to be able to support myself, being independent with my finances will mean a lot to me, though with my rate of pay, it's a slow process.
I have no definite plans on pursuing a further education yet, simply because I'd rather not spend the time and money on something I'm not sure about.
I'm a musician at heart. Was in band all through middle and high school, and learned a few instruments along the way.
Simple things intrigue me, and amuse me. Something as small as a flower, or something as grand as a sunrise, I find the beauty and joy in it.
Over the years I have been able to learn to just take a breath, step back, and appreciate things. Laugh about things. And be patient about things I cannot change. It makes no sense to get unnecessarily annoyed and angry about things you cannot control.
I'm here because I'm relatively new to the area, as in, I got here just last June, compared to having been through schooling and more with the community, and whether I meet friends, or something more from this site, I'm looking forward to it. Won't lie...I'm lonely...but who on this site isn't just the slightest bit.
I'm not a fan of dating sites, I just don't feel it's real...but hey...crazier things happen...so why not..we'll give it a shot.

First Date
My ideal first date wouldn't need to be something fancy, or expensive. A first date is more than a flashy show of a wallet. It needs to be something special, because a memory means more than a receipt. We should be able to be ourselves, have fun, be together, be simple, be able to learn about the other person. And most of all be something we both enjoy.
