About Me
I don't know what to say. Been a while since I dated seriously so you'll have to ask what you want to know. I'm a huge Laker fan (Go Lakers!) and LOVE going to games and watching basketball on TV. I do volunteer work and take a Yoga class on Sundays and take water aerobics classes 4-5 times a week and LOVE IT!!. I'm working very hard to go from " a few extra pounds" to "average". It's my top priority to be healthy in both mind and body. It's hard to find someone who will accept me "as is". But maybe I just haven't met YOU. :)
I love nature and love hiking. I enjoy all types of music, except rap music and am a sucker for a juicy romance novel! I enjoy all types of movies except sci-fi and bloody gore and hate anything with Adam Sandler and JackAss type movies.
I am over 40 and am comfortable in my own skin and appreciate what I have and who I am. I don't have baggage or bring drama and I do not want it either. We all have a past and responsibilities to manage and need to respect that - and I do!
I enjoy exploring new things I haven't done before like recently I went for an archery lesson in Daly City. It was fun, but I sucked at it! lol. I enjoy just being out and about or sitting around and relaxing, meditating, drinking wine or watching a little tv. Or listening to Fiona Joy Hawkins.
My type of guy is loyal, funny, non-judgmental and somewhat outgoing or at least likes to plan things. At this stage in my life I want someone that can be my pillar rather than me being someones saviour. Not that I wouldn't be a dependable partner, just that I'd like someone interested in knowing that their partner is happy and taken care of.
Turn off's: Guys who wear hats daily, still go to clubs and drink/party like we did in our 20's and 30's! Not really into bald men (sorry but that's honest). Fake people.
Tattoo's are good but not piercings!

First Date
Here's the thing... I need to have some type of dialogue with you via chat/email/text to understand you, your personality and interests first . I am a single mom (albeit of a teenager but still...) and it is my responsibility to keep myself safe and be responsible. I just kind of need to find common ground on a basic level before meeting anyone and then let's walk, chat and laugh...and see if we agree on a date number 2!
