About Me
I believe that for a lasting relationship, you have to have more than just chemistry, you need to enjoy being around each other. I'm looking for someone who accepts me as me and in return I will do the same. Someone who can laugh at themselves and not take everything serious. Someone who can put up with my sarcasm and return it in kind. Someone who can either spend a quiet night at home, go out and tear up the town, or run away for the weekend depending on our moods. Some days/nights are meant to be spent cuddling on the couch and watching movies and others are meant to be spent looking for new adventure.
I have two great boys who 11 and 7 who are with me 50% of the time. I'm very lucky in that there is no drama with their father. We work great as co-parents, always working together in what works best for them.
My friends mean the world to me and because of that, I'm willing to help one out when they need me. There have been a few times that I've gotten up in the middle of the night or have taken off of work to be there when I was needed and would do the same with my significant other.
I am a little shy at first, but once you get to know me, you'd would never guess I'm that way. Most of my friends describe me as outgoing, but it's only because once I'm comfortable with someone, I'm very open, especially after a glass of wine or a Cosmo.
I joined a coed softball team for the summer of 2012, we have taken the fall off and plan on getting back together for the Spring. I play a mean 2nd base! I'm very competitive and willing to do just about anything not to have the ball get past me. I've come home with bruises and dirty just to aid my team in winning. I'm part tom-boy, part girlie-girl. What more can you ask for? :-)
