I'm a soon to be 37 year old now Quincy resident that grew up on the South Shore. I'm a laid back guy that likes to go with the flow rather than planning every last detail. I'm not the life of the party or leader of the pack, I much prefer small, casual, and relaxed groups where I can make the occasional witty comment. I have a great sense of humor, but not outlandish or in anyone's face with it. I've been a dedicated Boston sports fan my entire life, and am always up for grabbing last minute tickets to summer evening Red Sox games. I'm not a gym rat by any means, but I do like to meet up with friends to shoot hoops, play tennis, wiffle ball, etc. I'm definitely a musicphile. I've mostly conformed to the ipod movement, but still have a pretty vast vinyl collection. Some of my favorite bands are The Clash, Beatles, Rolling Stones, Foo Fighters, Radiohead, and Pixies. But I still get a kick out of discovering new bands and going to local shows. I lived in the Seaport for 4 years and miss it so much. So if you know of any good places in or around the Q, then hit me up. At this point in my life I don't like going out too much, I need a good mix of out on the town and movies on the couch. I have traveled within the US, but would love to expand my horizon and vacation abroad soon.
I like to keep it casual on the first date. Meet for a drink at a not too busy bar or grab a coffee somewhere. Get to know each a little. Then once we're comfortable, we can walk (if its a nice night out) to dinner at a nearby restaurant. If sparks fly, we can do something more adventurous on date number two. Maybe head to an improv show, concert, bowling, museum of science, or anything else that sounds like fun.
