I'm kind of awesome. I'm independent but still greatly appreciate romance. I like all the same movies and music you like, except that one. I will watch sports with you, but if its baseball or golf I won't pay attention to the game and if its hockey, I won't pay attention to you. And if you hate sports, that's fine too. I'm not obsessed.
I prefer baths to showers and dark chocolate to milk. Odds are good I'm a better cook than you, but I love it when I'm wrong.
I like the way I look. I think I keep improving with age. Maybe I do, or maybe confidence comes with wisdom. I'm not sure. I'm not thin, so if you're into skinny women, I'm not for you and I get that. I have my preferences too. In general, I like tall and lanky, although I'll forgo one or the other. I don't like very heavy men, since I carry my own belly and thighs that might seem hypocritical, but there's no point in us waisting each other's time. Attraction is key. That said, there's a lot if variation in the men I've found attractive, and intelligence and confidence carry a different weight all together.
Surprisingly unrelated to this, I won't respond to anyone without a public photo. I get that you have one to share and that you care about your privacy for whatever reason, but we are well past the era where there is any stigma associated with online dating. We're all here now, so whether you're embarrassed or married, you're not for me.
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
The best first dates are the ones with an activity. If we're out having fun and there's no spark, well, we still had a fun night out doing something! And if there IS a spark, we have a great first date story.
