About Me
I've just moved back to the area after working in another part of the country for a few years. I am now looking forward to getting to know the Cambridge area as a young professional rather than a student - there are so many places I haven't been here yet - it's crazy!
So I'm genuinely also looking to meet new people, but of course would be happy if it developed further; that's why I am on here too of course. I am not the sort of guy to wander up to someone in a bar or whatever, I'd find that incredibly rude and intrusive but clearly that makes meeting new people a bit harder.
I tend to enjoy being with people and friends generally whatever the activity but hobbies I have enjoyed to date include walking (holidays), sailing, travel, technology, tennis, multiplayer gaming with friends, keeping up on current news and, as my also job requires, science! I am therefore certainly a bit geeky but hopefully I pull it off well.
I think I'm quite caring and I always try to think about how my actions make other people feel. Within myself however I am easy going, like almost any type of food and get on well with lots of different types of people. I'm very dependable, good at listening and have a good sense of humour - you'll need to be OK with some light banter!
My goals and aspirations do not concern my career or financial well being. Don't get me wrong, I need enough to be happy but I'm doing quite well at that and I would rather enjoy each day in my job than earn huge amounts of cash. In the future I want to explore new places, visiting rather than permanently I think at the moment though as family is still important. I just feel I would get more out of this with the right person by my side - hopefully that's you! Thanks for reading.
