About Kathy
I am a recently widowed southern woman. I have two grown daughters and five wonderful grandchildren. I was blessed to have a very happy marriage and I know how much it means to share your life with someone special. And that is what I am trying to do now. I have many intrests from my flower beds to a current interest in ancient civilizations. I love this life and believe it is only the beginning of our journey. I know how to have a good time and I know how to make people comfortable and at ease. I have led a very unique life and am grateful. Anyway other than an abiding love of the mountains ,good food, stimulating companions,good books,and I cannot deny that I am an outgoing person......I know a lot more now...and I kinda like being older. Happiness is very often a choice and I always try to see the cup half full.

First Date
Hmmmmmm, been a long time since I've had a first date. I think I prefer to leave that to the fates and just keep an open mind and a sense of discovery. I think I want to be ....heck...impressed ...or at least amused....even pleased would be great. So here's to kismet. I might add I am a bit old fashioned and see nothing wrong with being adored.
