About Me
I enjoy individuals who like to discuss all topics of life; thought provoking subjects and interests. I'm independent yet appreciate a chivalrous man.
On the fun side..I love to play volleyball, hike, run, swim; I'm competitive yet the best sport; will bungee jump; love roller coasters and amusement parks; water skiing, boating, the driving range; love watching my son play waterpolo, the beach; arts of all kinds; dancing, eating out, eating in, fine restaurants or hole in the wall spots; wine tasting or beer paddles, playing cards, board games, reading or watching movies. Live music; any concert and If there is an acoustic guitar involved, I love it even more. I'd love to try rock climbing.
A few not so obvious things about myself:
I floss every day and notice people’s teeth…it’s a weird quirk. On the rare occasion I have a soda, I drink Coke not Pepsi. I sleep on my right side.. I’m a great swimmer. I eat oatmeal every morning. Toilet paper roll should feed over and not under. I drive a stick and I have a heavy foot; yet I’m a very courteous driver. I enjoy most all foods. I am scared of sharks yet enjoy watching Shark Week (saw Jaws when I was young and it traumatized me). Favorite ice cream flavor: Chocolate. I’m not a great singer, however that doesn’t stop me from singing in the shower and in the car…yes, I’m one of those car singers you see on the road. Men are a mystery to me. I have broken a toe and still ran a race the next day. I have freakishly high arches and small feet for my height. This explains the clumsiness and the broken toe, yet, in my mind’s eye I’m very graceful when I do trip. I only like to use blue pens, and if a black pen is on my desk…well “Houston we have a problem.” Sushi is the best. Being a female super hero would be cool. I always use Wonder Woman as my name at Starbucks. I love it when the Barista yells out “Venti Mocha for Wonder Woman” and I step up. Everyone looks and I smile with authority. Then the bat-mobile pulls up and off we go. Ok, that part is not true. :) I love children, and if you have them, that is not a problem for me. I love to go grocery shopping with friends and when they check out…oh boy…what they might find in their basket is always a surprise. I love all genres of music. Isn’t spell check great? I always say “please” and “thank you”. I love the City. I cannot do a simple cartwheel. I Google everything and anything except potential dates. I have no clue how to re-program my sprinkler system when the power goes out…:(. I love my iPhone yet when I’m out with friends and family…it’s off. Paper cuts are freak accidents and really hurt. My parents are still married. People who are late drive me nuts. There is no such thing as too much garlic. I love red wine and micro-brews. I cannot sit backwards on BART. I believe timing is everything. My garbage day is Tuesday. Honesty is always the best policy. I’m from the south and when I talk to my parents or sister, a slight accent reappears for an hour or so after. I think men who take pictures of their body in the mirror and then post them…bad idea; don’t you have friends who can take your picture? Just saying. I enjoy people watching…but not judging. Overripe bananas frighten me. I am blessed with two great kids and many friends. My first pet I can remember was our dog named Whiskers; then we had a kitten named Kitty…my parents went for the obvious in name selection. My sister is a Georgia Peach, I am not. I always take the stairs. I love unconditionally. Flip-flops are the best shoes ever. I love to hunt down the characters at Disneyland for a photo op. Actions speak louder than words. I like to eat healthy…most of the time. Strangers are friends you have never met. I enjoy confident people, not arrogance. I’m very affectionate…if you don’t like to be touched…hmmm then you’re not for me. Chocolate covered cherries…yummy! iPod = music = love. I try to exercise 5-6 days a week. If you smile at someone, it really could be just what they need that day…so smile. :)
Looking for a genuine, respectful man with good communication skills; someone who wants to have fun; no drama; a companion who when together we bring out the best in each other. I believe chemistry is important.
