Full time student (have roughly 3 semesters remaining from spring of 2015), current plan is to continue for a master's in History, with plans to continue on for a doctorate, and a beyond that a tenure track as a professor of History. I returned to school to better myself, and have a wider choice of careers after I get my B.A., which means I may/may not have time to go out every single weekend. Homework has a high priority (but it won't be that way forever). I enjoy learning and have missed academia since I dropped out in the late nineties (was burned out and tired of being broke). I have 2 semesters of German so far, with 2 more to meet the degree requirement. I Worked at a major transportation firm for nearly nine years before I decided that I wanted my life back and after having a go-nowhere job I re-enrolled in school.
There are no children, crazy stalker ex's, drugs, or drama in my life. I would like to have kids in the near future (need a good paying job to be able to support them). I like tattoo's but have trouble picking one out.
I play trombone in two community bands (Hobart and Dyer), not over fond of pop music (it all sounds the same to me, nor am I able to pick out Lady Gaga in a line up if my life depended on it. lol). Not a sports fan (never could get into them, however I know enough to follow what is happening). Mechanical things fascinate me (able to change a tire long before AAA shows up). Avid reader (more like devourer) of 4-5 books a month (lately they've been adventure/mystery, history of technology and fiction). I don't hunt, but do target shoot on occasion.
I like tattoo's (they're like art you wear), piercings, multiple hair colors (especially when the light hits them and you can see all the subtle, hidden shades). I prefer curves, but am not picky as smarts trump beauty every time. Despite society telling me blondes are more fun, I prefer redheads and brunettes. Cheating and games conflict with my moral code, unless it's Monopoly, then all bets are off ;-).
Should I have kept your interest throughout my rambling, please feel free to drop a line (if you make the first move that's fine, my ego doesn't mind). If I failed to keep it then, I wish to thank you for taking the time to check out my profile, and wish you the best of luck in your quest.
My preferred first face to face meeting would be in a public place and over a meal. I am not opposed to a tavern, as long as it's a quiet enough place to converse without yelling. I shall save the romantic ideas for a later time. ;-)
