I have my 2 boys, 15yo and 13yo 50% of the time. They are the most important part of my life and my partner must understand the responsibilities that being a mother entails. My boys and I have been on many adventurous vacations. WE have been spelunking, rappelling, 4-wheeling, atv-ing... Since they are teenagers, I don't think that they will want to be hanging out with their mother for very much longer.
I am looking for a sincere friendship which I believe can only occur if intimacy is held off until that friendship can be established. I've gotten into (too many for me) some relationships that never should have happened by rushing into intimacy. Have I lost you?!? lol
I have this romantic notion of growing old with someone. I love seeing elderly couples walking together! I don't have any notions that their lives were easy in any way...but in the end, they are together and that's what matters
