About Me
I am an East Coast transplant, here since '09 from DC. I like the Bay Area because it allows me to indulge fully in my hobby hoarding. In fact, one of my old friends calls me a renaissance woman because I love learning and am always trying new things.
I love music of all kinds and have been singing since I was a kid. Now I sing occasionally with a jazz band in the East Bay. I don't take myself too seriously though and can karaoke with the best (or worst) of them.
Hablo Español (aprendí durante un viaje a Sud America en 2004), a little Portuguese, and have studied some Russian and Hungarian. If I had it my way, I'd spend much more time learning languages.
Other interests include cooking, dining out and making art of all kinds. I stay active by practicing yoga, taking boxing classes and dancing (salsa is a favorite).

What I'm looking for in a date is someone who's funny, easy to talk to, intelligent, and sincere. I'm flexible about the what and where, but in general drinks or dinner is a good start.
