About Me
Retirement is a dream come true and there are not enough hours in the day to do the things I enjoy. Activities that keep me busy include leading creative clubs such as quilting, playing cards with friends, swimming, going to the movies and shows, spending time with family and friends, reading, and writing. I enjoy the company of my two dogs.
My goal is to see the world. I've traveled a lot but there are many places I would still like to see such as South America, Australia, New Zealand, Cuba, Puerto Rico and Egypt. Another goal is to complete the book I'm currently writing and have it published. I'd also like to continue to create award-winning modern art quilts.
I'm on a spiritual quest and attend Unity Church and weekly classes to enrich my learning. I'm compassionate, optimistic and idealistic. I like people and hearing their stories. I'm creative and love to have fun.
I like Jazz and the classic standards such as Cole Porter.
