Oh hey! So here I am, on POF...which is exactly where I thought I'd be at 32! Wait...no, it's not. But it's where I am, and like everything else, I figure if you're not happy with where you are/what you're doing, then start taking steps to change it. (Even if that means online dating, haha.) I'm self-employed and do a lot of work from home, so meeting people in my regular day-to-day life just doesn't happen.
NOTE: If I get an email stating that "________ wants to meet you!" or told that I've been added as a favourite, and there's no message, that's fine and dandy, but I will ignore it. (Though chances are those who do that aren't looking at my profile anyway and won't even read this - moot point?) And gentlemen - we can normally tell when a message is one that's been copied, pasted, and sent to multiple ladies :)
I have a pug named Wheezy, and love country music, dancing, reading, and sleeping. (Not only those things, obviously. I'm also a fan of live theatre and Post-It Notes.) Looking for someone taller than me (not hard to do) with a sense of humour. Proper spelling and grammar = hot. Good conversation is a must (as are comfortable silences), and the ability to rescue me from moths and butterflies.
Also, be awesome. No pressure, right?
Conversation Starters (i.e. what you'd like to do on a first date...)
Not a movie! A beverage of sorts is always a safe bet - unless you're a risk-taker? First date zip-lining? Haha.
