Let's get started, shall we?
I've spent the last year living in Northern New Hampshire and while it was great, it wasn't home. I just moved back to Michigan at the beginning of the summer and I'm looking forward to putting down some roots and really getting my life started.
In leaving New Hampshire, I'm also taking a leap of faith and leaving the industry I've been trained in (restaurants) and joining the family business (finance) and I couldn't be more excited. Not only will this change give me the challenge that I need to stay stimulated, but it will also give me a much better work/life balance. I may be young, but I know what I want out of life and I'm willing to work for it.
That part out of the way, let's get to some other facts about me. I absolutely love being out doors and have discovered a new love in camping, hiking, and kayaking while living in New Hampshire. I read like its my job. I would much prefer a quiet night in or around a fire with a few close friends than a bar any night of the week. I am highly affectionate and have a tendency to wear my heart on my sleeve and over think just about everything. I laugh at completely inappropriate times. I try to find the humor in everything and see the good in everyone. My family is my absolute number one priority. They are my world. I am the jumpiest person in the world, yet I love things like horror movies or haunted houses that get my adrenaline going. I have a completely irrational attachment to my hair. I will give you my absolute trust and respect until you give me a reason not to. I believe the most important factors in a relationship are open honesty, loyalty, an understanding that relationships aren't "easy" - they take work, and challenging one another to continue to grow and be better.
I could continue to rattle some other stuff off, but I'll leave it here for now. Don't be shy, say hello!
