My friends and family would say I am disciplined, have strong convictions, a woman of faith, intelligent, analytical (sometimes overly so), I am no grudge-holder, that I always give additional chances, I am a believer in finding the good in people, I forgive and move on. Im told I can be direct sometimes and too loud/excited, and an "oversharer". They would say I am confident, can speak to anyone, go anywhere alone, can struggle through a foreign language with joy, and that I am a dancing fiend and a lot of fun!.
I work to live NOT the other way around. I am always game to go to new places and do new things. Have traveled a lot and plan to do more, mostly Europe but tropical and exotic destinations too! Have one college age son now launched into the world who is an amazing musician and a big loving family who I spend a lot of time with. Just recently relocated to Santa Rosa to be near family. I grew up in Monterey. I go to Clear Lake often to enjoy boating with family. I love the lake life. I lived in Tohoe briefly. I'd do anything up there, winter, spring or fall. Love Yosemite and a clear, calm, fish filled reef for some snorkling.
Lets see............I've developed and interest in classic cars through my sister and brother-in-law. It's the artist in me. I was a graphic artist in an earlier career. Want to learn to paint some day. What better place than Sonoma County for inspiration. It IS like France! I love wine, (mostly red) and any outdoor celebration is fun for me as long as there aren't enormous crowds.
My taste in music is rather eclectic: Stevie Ray Vaughn, Stray cats, Eric Clapton, Eagles, Cherrie Poppin Daddies, Jonie MItchel, Adele, Big Band, Blue Grass, Country, and any good dancing music will do. I love to dance, freestyle, Tango, Modern jazz and now HipHop (just to freak out my son). Dance is MY exercise. It keeps me young and fit. I've done many performances and musical theater.
But I'm ready to get my adventure on and would like to learn to rock climb, go zip-lining, horse-back riding, kayaking, and the like.
I'm looking for the guy who could stay up all night and talk about what makes the world go around and make each other laugh. I want in..... inside your head. No surface, polite relationship for me. I want to be treated like the lady I am and I'll respect the man that you are. I'm a Navy brat raised to do something right or don't do it at all. My job is demanding but equally rewarding and I try my best to deliver with the utmost integrity to my patients and colleagues as I do my friends and family and would so do for the man in my life. I have high standards and great joy for expression, whether it be in dance, art, music, the outdoors, architechture, classic cars, conversation or an awesome meal. I am humble in that I know I could aways improve upon myself both inside and out and though I have strong opinions I learn from others every day. I am kinda an old fashioned girl. I won't give up on finding love.
